AKRON, OH (December 2011) —

Capitol 325 Super Sentry aluminum windows were the perfect solution for the Windemere CLC project: balancing performance and aesthetics. The windows for the project featured fixed and operable configurations with Low-“E” insulated glass; integral blinds/hinged access panels, and sliding wicket screens. The 2-coat 70% Kynar finish that was applied to the windows provided aesthetic quality and warranty performance for lasting value. In addition, exterior sun shades and interior light shelves were attached to the building that complimented the features and performance of the window system.

Also, Capitol contributed to LEED point attainment for the project, meeting credits for MR4.1; 4.2 (Recycled Content) and MR5.1; 5.2 (Regional Materials). The Windemere CLC project is currently registered with the U.S. Green Building Council pending target certification LEED Silver.
