History
Founded by Robert C. Wagner in April of 1956, Capitol began manufacturing aluminum windows, doors, awnings and railing for the residential market.  Mr. Wagner patented many pieces of equipment developing his innovative manufacturing techniques.  Capitol continued to service the residential market for the next 12 years.  During the energy crisis of the 60’s and 70’s Capitol saw that there was an emerging market in energy efficient products for institutional buildings.  Capitol shifted its focus from residential to commercial and is now recognized nationally in the industry.  Today, Capitol focuses on products for commercial and institutional markets, continuing to engineer and manufacture products that are the best quality in the market.

Future Goals
Capitol Aluminum and Glass Corporation continues to grow and research new products to help conserve energy and withstand the tests of time.  As time passes by Capitol plans to continually update products keeping up to date with the always changing trends and architecture.
